Not having a job sucks. Sitting on my butt all day sucks. Needing the rest to recover. Well, that’s pretty nice.  If I was working right now, I don’t know how my recovery would be going.  My body basically craves food every 2 hours and I don’t know what job is going to let me nibble that often.  However, the farther I go the more my body is adjusting.  But the time at home has also let me discover this beautiful blog world, AMAZING people, and delicious food.

Which leads me to this DELISH recipe from kabochafashion.  Although she posts delicious looking recipes almost daily, this was one I had to try. Matt and I are huge hummus fans and as soon as I showed him this recipe he demanded I make it immediately.  Which I think I did. And it turned out ah-mazing.

this was wiped clean courtesy of my fingers. it was that good.

To share the wealth here is the recipe:

Banana Bread Hummus

Ingredients

2 small dates

1 large ripe banana

1 cup of drained and rinsed canned chickpeas

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Put all of the ingredients in the food processor until completely smooth.

Your mouth will thank you.

Do you ever actually make recipes you find online?

I find that I print/save/copy tons of recipes, yet I rarely make them. I really do have the best intentions, but I can sometimes be lazy or I’ll just throw together my own version.
