Hello lovlies ♥

I had an amazing breakfast that I must share.

I know I have been boasting lately about my plain oats, and trust me, they were delicious.  But I decided to dress my oats up a bit more this morning and I am so glad I did.

It was a brisk morning and it is finally starting to feel like fall here, so I thought I would embrace it.

chocolate pumpkin oats. oh my yum.

I just had to introduce pumpkin back into my oats. How could I not.  And who doesn’t love chocolate?

Crazy people. That’s who.

In my Mix:

Chocolate Pumpkin Oats:

1/2 cup oats

1-1/2 cup water (or liquid of your choice)

2-3 tablespoons pumpkin

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa

1/2 tablespoon chia seeds

dash of cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice)

topped with banana peanut butter, banana slices, whole foods vanilla granola

I didn’t think I could miss spiced up oats this bad, but I did.  Because when I took my first bite it was true bliss.

And we all know I make some tasty oats.

What a wonderful morning.

paired with a delicious blend of vanilla nut coffee with a splash of vanilla soy milk.

This was just an overall satisfying breakfast.  There is nothing worse then cooking up a meal and not being happy with it, which I have had my fair share of bland boring oats, which just results in me wishing I made something else, so it is always nice to have a success.
