Good news everyone!
(Anyone else watch Futurama, because I totally just had the professors voice in my head. If you don’t. You should.)

Well, I do have good news.
My phone is fixed! Yay!
Which means, I finally got a good picture of our Christmas tree! I know, I was cutting it close, Christmas is only 3 days away! I can’t believe it! I actually wasn’t aware of how close it was till Matt and I talked about it last night!
Little sock monkey was shy I guess!
As you can see Matt and I are having a smaller Christmas this year. I actually got him quite a few nice gifts, but it’s so hard with me not working. I hate it because I just want to buy buy buy give give give! And I can’t this year.

I did however get something else that day that cheered me up a bit though!
Matt brought my home flowers (that I didn’t even notice till he pointed them out!) as a thank you for baking cookies for his work. What a guy! I really am super lucky!

But then he followed up with this, at around 9pm last night he told me he had a pot luck at work the next day. And he didn’t know what he wanted to take. Then the night turned into he had to do a bunch of work. So the trip to the grocery store to get something didn’t happen. So what did happen you ask? Debbie was baking at 7am, that’s what happened.
I really didn’t mind though, especially since I had such a great time baking cookies, I made a quick little pie for him to take.
I’ve never been to the grocery at 7am. It was kind of fun being all alone in there.
So about an hour later he was on his way to work with this little guy.
Chocolate Pudding Peanut Butter Pie
The pie filling was mainly a mixture of chocolate pudding, cool whip, and cream cheese. The topping was more cool whip mixed with peanut butter. So it’s kind of a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. If you want a recipe I can try and remember all of what I put into it!
I’m not going to lie, shoving cool whip and peanut butter in my mouth at 7am didn’t sit too well with my mind. I still did it though, and that sometimes is the important part of challenging myself.

I must say I have really been enjoying my time off from school. I haven’t cracked open my books once! I know I will next week though. It is going to be so hard to get back in the swing of things. Since I’ve enjoyed being in the house and cooking and cleaning (and actually enjoying both, whaa?) It is going to be hard to be running around like a mad women again. So is life though!
