Well loves, being back in school definitely has taken it’s toll on me.  There is also some other drama going on that I’d rather not get into that has also made my life a little more hectic than wanted.  But that’s life right?

A positive side though is Matt and I had some amazing friends visit us last weekend! It is always so refreshing to have positive people around, I really feel like it helps me and my spirit.  I have been having some pretty rough days lately, I’m not going to lie, so it was nice to be able to relax with good friends.

The only thing that was sort of a bummer was I stayed behind a few times to get some studying done.  I hated being the “party pooper” but school is just so important to me right now.  They of course completely understood.  Which again shows you how great they are.

What I Ate Wednesday

And we all know who we need to thank for this wonderful party. Oh you don’t? Well the lovely miss Jenn at PeasandCrayons is who we thank, without her this wouldn’t be possible.

As stated in my last post, breakfast’s have sort of been looking like this.

Olecranon Process anyone? Anyone? No? Ok.

As much as I love my nut butter and jelly sandwiches (am I the only one who constantly typos but butter for nut butter? Happens way too often to me) they do get a little boring.

With the help of Chobani and their new flavors however, breakfast this morning was a little bit more exciting.

I will say it was not as cinnamon apple-ly as I thought it would be, but it was still super tasty and a nice switch up!

I also picked up a new to me product on my way to class.

I’ve tried the cinnamon flavor as well and really enjoyed it.  The grape was very good as well. I am a fan.

And I actually prepared a real dinner tonight.

I have been real lazy lately on my dinner, but made myself snack so I could wait for dinner to cook.  Something for some reason I mentally hate doing.

I decided to cut into this bad boy (and boy was it work) and make me some spaghetti squash.  I seriously love this stuff!

topped with a garlic and onion marinara sauce.

Simple? Yes. Delicious? Double yes.

I spiced the spaghetti squash with an onion and herb spice and also some cayenne pepper.  I definitely tasted the spice! I loved it!

does this bowl look small to you? don’t worry fork fulls of spaghetti squash made it into my mouth in the scooping process.

That is another great thing about spaghetti squash. It yields an insane amount of filling. Leftovers for days! And I’m not complaining.

What’s your favorite quick go to meal?

Do you mind snacking before dinner is ready? This is part of my ED that I want gone. I hate it.  Right now with me being in my gaining process the fact of eating just to eat really bothers me mentally.  I’ll push through it and do it, but the after effects are sometimes so hard to deal with. I need to learn snacking is not bad.
