marvelous friends
Hello hello my loves!
♥ ♥ ♥
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. I know I did. Which makes this particular Monday even more marvelous. So let’s get to it and get marvelous with the beautiful Katie. She is just so marvelous on her own.

A few things made this weekend pretty marvelous, but the most important part was our friends from Indiana happened to be in Arizona and made a special trip to see us. How great are they? Pretty great. It’s been about two years since we last saw them so Matt and I were more than excited.
I actually don’t have a lot of pictures because we were way too busy having fun.
They were only in town for one night, so when I got off from work we headed out to dinner at one of our local breweries Four Peaks. Whenever people visit, this is one spot we always want to take people. Great beer. Great food. And it has a really great atmosphere.
We of course started off with a beer while we waited for a table.

I ordered the peach ale, which is just my absolute favorite. As girly as I am, I don’t like my drinks super fruity. This is the perfect blend of sweet, but still has that ale/hop taste. I love it.
♥ ♥ ♥
Sadly, no picture of the food, but we ordered their Spinach and Artichoke dip as an appetizer which is just absolutely delicious. Super cheesy, with huge chunks of artichokes, which I love. We demolished it. I then had the cajun chicken sandwich as my entree, which again was amazing. I like things spicy, and they do not skimp on the spice. Oh and their french fries I swear are the best around. I may be a bit of a french fry snob, but these are those thick cut, not too greasy perfect fries. Ok, I know they’re just fries, leave me alone, I get excited about small things.

A lot of this went on as well.

Oh Ben. So sexy right?
♥ ♥ ♥
We then hit up the store, got quite a bit more adult beverages (not an understatement, the boys got so much beer) and headed back to our place. I had to work the next morning, so I headed to bed around midnight, but the boys? They were up until 5:30am! Good golly. Boys will be boys. Me and Lina arose quite a bit earlier than them and decided to head to Starbucks to get some coffee for us, and some for the boys when they finally decided to stir.
♥ ♥ ♥

Hazelnut Americano for me. So tasty.
♥ ♥ ♥
The boys slept until right before I had to leave for work, I got my quick good-byes in, then did my normal.
I wish I could have gotten to hang out with them during the day, but some of us have to be adults right
Even though it was short I had an amazing visit with them.

Well loves, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well and have a wonderful week!!

Are you a “snob” over any type of food?: I started to make a list over what foods I feel I am a snob on, but it honestly got too long. Let’s just say I like good food, I know good food, and I know bad food, and I will let you know what I think.

I’m a sushi snob, it has to be fresh, no day-old grocery store rolls for me! I guess I’m a little snobby about healthy foods too. I like my veggies and whole foods and I’m probably a little too open about it! Definitely not a wine snob though, I can’t tell the difference between a $10 bottle and a $30 bottle. If it tastes good, I drink it
i agree with the “day old” but there was a sushi lady in our local market who made THE BEST sushi. it’s actually what finally turned me on to sushi, she would make custom rolls and the ingredients were very good, so don’t judge grocery store sushi! because honestly, trader joes and sprouts sushi, i HATE. too much rice, not enough good stuff.
Fun! It’s always so nice to get to see good friends even if it’s just for a bit. Ummm… I can’t even remember the last time I’ve stayed up until 5:30am! Boys!
5:30 AM… oh man I don’t think I could EVER stay awake that late these days. I swear, 11-11:30 is pushing it for me, Ha Ha!
Glad all of you had such a fun night out together though
SUSHI SNOB! Has to be beautiful and of course fresh! I stick to the places I know!
Love ya girl and hope all is well! <3
Oh my gosh, I am the biggest sushi snob!! I have gone into nicer places and seriously been so disappointed! I have a favorite whole in the wall sushi place that has the freshest fish! Makes all the difference!
Love you girl! Hope you and baby g are doing well!! ❤
Now I am sitting here trying to think about what I’m a snob about. To be honest, not much! Maybe pimiento cheese. And BBQ. [Both things I don't eat anymore---well, the pimiento cheese maybe on occasion.]
I am going to be thinking about this all day.
I’m seriously a snob on so much. I like food just a bit too much.
I hope you think about this all day ❤
Oh my gosh, that FACE! Ben needs to show me how to do that ASAP! Haha! Sounds like you guys had a great time! Love it when I get so caught up in the moment that I forget to take pictures…well, ok sometimes I hate it, but it’s definitely a GOOD hate!
That peach ale sounds great! I love ordering the vanilla bean ale at our local brewery…just enough sweetness, but like you said, you can still taste the hoppiness! <- Ha, that's a funny looking word! …it is a word right? Lol
I am a TOTAL food snob! Omg, I HATE getting poor quality food when I KNOW there is better out there! And I'm definitely with you on the french fries…I rarely ever order them because I know I'll just be disappointed…luckily the man-friend seems to have a bit of a weakness fries (he's ordered them about half the times we've gone out) so I can always manage to sneak one or two…ya know, for quality testing purposes only!
[...] Debbie, I can be a bit of a food snob (particularly with fried foods). I seriously hate it when you go to [...]
