marvelous in the small things
I may fall asleep as I type this, but there are certain things that I always love to be a part of.
And one of those things is Katie’s Marvelous In My Monday.

My life is so busy, a bit stressful, and always a little crazy, but this gives me the opportunity to focus on the goods things that have happened in the past week. As small as they may be, because really, it is the small things that make life worth it.

Take this for instance.

Chocolate just makes everything better, does it not?
No it’s not my birthday, but I definitely benefited from a class mates birthday. These are raspberry chocolates dipped in more chocolate, drizzled with more chocolate. The most amazing thing I have eaten in awhile. Ah-mazing.

Other small things that make me happy?
New crack spice love.
I love Mrs. Dash seasonings, but sometimes I don’t want to pay for them. Yes, I am cheap. Super cheap. Not ashamed, we’re on a budget.
But this beauty was on sale, so I thought hey why not. Best. Decision.Ever.
It’s amazing.
Even sprinkled on plain squash.

Making funny puns makes me happy too.

How do you use your bread butts?
I put #nuttybutter on mine.
#stupidfoodiehumor
I know Sarah appreciated it.

But one thing that always makes me smile?

Snoring kitties.
♥ ♥ ♥
And auto correct on iPhones.

Klingon. Still makes me giggle.

So loves even when life gets hectic and a little crazy, it’s always good to embrace and appreciate the small things.
Oh, and do some late night experiment baking.
I have a problem of baking like I cook, and that’s throwing in random ingredients, but this time it came out amazing.
Matt and I were both really surprised.

But I’ll save the recipe for next time.
Gotta leave you guessing.
Have a great week everyone!!

I bake like a cook, too…just like you. Sometimes it does turn out surprisingly wonderful. Or should I say…marvelous?
Glad you are enjoying your nutty BUTTer. I love butts. Bread ones. And baby ones. Otherwise I’m sort of indifferent.
Those cookies look yummy!!!! Love when random recipes turn out great!
Happy monday beautiful friend! <3
