This month I was paired with Jenny.  After being informed that she was from Texas, I had one request. Salsa.

She was so sweet to oblige to my request!

Here is what she sent me.

Texas Tango Mango Salsa, Apricot Ginger Preserves and Habanero Pralines.

She actually sent me two Habanero Pralines and I’m not going to lie I was a chicken and made Matt be my guinea pig with trying one first.

I even got it on video!

I love his willingness and acceptance of me shoving random things in his mouth. (insert dirty pun here)

All for the sake of food blogging right?

He’s such a trooper.

But in the end a thumbs up!

 As a thank you I also shared the salsa with him.  We had intentions of using it with some fish tacos, but ended up just dipping some tortilla chips in it while we were cooking dinner one right. I love sweet salsa’s, this one was a perfect balance of sweet/spicy.
