playing catch up

Hi friends. Yes I exist. I can’t tell you how many times I told myself I needed to write a post and go figure I found others things to do instead. But with it being Christmas in (oh my gosh) 3 days, I think it’s safe to say we have all been a little busy.

So I thought to catch you up on what’s been going on, I would do a photo dump of a post. It’s more fun to look at pictures rather than listen to me talk, or read for that matter.

So let’s go back.

I made a very heartfelt post on Instagram the other day after I had posted this picture of a sushi dinner out with Matt.

♥ ♥ ♥

Yes I know it is a lot of food. And yes, we did eat it all. I got a lot of comments of “oh my gosh how can you eat so much and stay skinny?” A few thoughts ran through my mind when these comments were made. One was “am I eating too much?” And then I really thought about it. I eat to enjoy food and to enjoy the moments. And I also work hard to be able to eat these meals on occasion. (and in reality, this isn’t that much food, Matt and I split this and let’s be real, I’ve eaten more) I am a firm believe in a healthy balanced lifestyle and sometimes that means one more glass of wine than I should probably have, but it also means staying on track with my fitness. So in response I made this post.

♥ ♥ ♥

I do work hard so I can play hard.  My post basically said this was me the day after my big meal out and this is why I feel no guilt or even think twice about having a big meal. I can’t say I believe in the 80/20 rule, I just believe in living life and being healthy. And for me that’s eating clean and being active. And if I have a dinner out, I don’t even give it a second thought. It’s all about the moment, and this sushi dinner and a date with my husband. That’s what it was about. I could basically ramble forever, but basically my point is, think about your comments  before you say them. I know the comments were not made to be hurtful, but you never know how someone may interpret them.

On to more fun things.

Other things that make everything better?
All the chocolate.

My mornings with my husband.

So to my fellow wives and girlfriends, I know we always love our significant others, but do you ever go through times when you really love them? Does that make sense? I always love Matt, but I go through these times where I am just so deeply in love with him. And I love it. Too much love? Never.

(side note about this picture. this may be why i love this man so much. i had to rush out because matt had to get to work but we wanted to get coffee and breakfast, so i had no make up on, and one of the first things out of his mouth was “you are so beautiful” and i know he meant it.)

Maybe it’s because he takes awkward kissy selfies with me with public.

And he buys me wine.

Well loves I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, take this time to cherish the moments with your friends and family and remember this time is about love and being grateful for all we have in our lives.

(i mean i hope you get some cool gifts too)

♥ ♥ ♥

Ladies, why do you love love your significant other? I mean like love them?

Are you ready for Christmas? What are you most excited for?

staying positive

Friends I am so sorry. I really hate that my posts are so sporadic and unpredictable, but I really feel like that is what my life has become.  Having a full time job and trying to run my own online fitness coaching business is really taking a toll on me. Not only with the blog, but also my social life. Or lack there of.

But alas,  I have managed to get out of my house and do a few fun things that I thought I should at least check in to let you know that I am still alive.

♥ ♥ ♥

Life has been so hectic that Matt and I forgot our own anniversary.  For the first 6 months of our marriage we had been celebrating every month and going to the same restaurant every month. Well we both forgot our 6 month and funny enough that was is actually a mile stone. I still can’t believe we’ve been married 6 months! Time really does fly.

I told Matt we could just wait until the next month, but he insisted we still go to our traditional anniversary spot. Well it’s almost our 7 month, but we managed to make it out before then. And it couldn’t have been on a more perfect night. Work has been incredibly stressful and Friday was the worst. To the point where I was almost in tears.  Thankfully I was able to go home early and upon getting home I took a long hot shower.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7742

♥ ♥ ♥

It’s amazing how a good shower and a fresh face can immediately make you feel better.

While I waited for Matt to get home, I did some personal development and read a little.  Again, it was just so nice to relax, read and remember to be positive and focus on me and bettering myself.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7720

♥ ♥ ♥

I freshened up a bit and we were off to an amazing dinner.

No big surprise where we go for dinner.

♥ ♥ ♥

 1

♥ ♥ ♥

Oh how I love sushi. I don’t think we ordered enough do you?

And needless to say with the week I had some sake was had as well.

♥ ♥ ♥

2

♥ ♥ ♥

After dinner we stopped by the park and took a walk around the lake. The weather is finally starting to cool down here and the nights are beautiful.  We ended the night swinging on the swings and went home to veg and watch some TV.  It was a little late, but it was the perfect anniversary night.

Saturday morning we decided to go out and grab some breakfast at a popular Brunch spot. Thankfully they have good Americano’s and the weather was nice because our wait was quoted at 10 minutes and it took more like 30.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7757

♥ ♥ ♥

The rest of the day was spent working with random errands in between. Typical Saturday for us really.

Sunday started off typical with us getting our traditional biscuits and gravy and I guess it was a trend of our breakfast’s taking longer than normal, because the girl ended up forgetting to make our coffees because she got too busy. O’well right?

♥ ♥ ♥

7

♥ ♥ ♥

Matt’s parents also came to town Sunday so we met them for lunch. Well, since Matt and I had a later breakfast we weren’t really hungry for lunch, but when they ordered dessert…

Well I couldn’t say no to a bite (or three)

♥ ♥ ♥

♥ ♥ ♥

This Apple Caramel Cheesecake was to.die.for.

And now it’s back to the drawing board for another long week at work, but I am determined to stay positive and make the best of it.

♥ ♥ ♥

What do you do after a long stressful work week to unwind?

relaxing and productive

Hi friends.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
I am really starting to love having my weekends off. Yes my week does seem extra long and trust me I am exhausted by the end of it, but it has been so nice being able to spend some actual quality time with Matt. When I had a day off during the week obviously he still had to go to work, so my day was spent running errands which didn’t seem like much of a day off.  Now Matt and I are actually able to do the errands together and spend some time together.

We also get to leisurely go grab coffee and breakfast.  Saturday we have been going to our typical “week day off” spot. Since it is finally cooling down in Arizona (under 100) we decided to walk. It’s the small simple things I missed and it was nice to just chat on the walk over.

I usually get a cold brew coffee, but I was feeling a fresh pressed juice this time.

♥ ♥ ♥
IMG_5258

♥ ♥ ♥

In the juice was carrots, beets, apple and turmeric. Hit the spot.

Matt also got a breakfast burrito. I typically just steal his potatoes.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_6340

♥ ♥ ♥

I call it quality control.

The rest of Saturday Matt and I both did some freelance work and ran some errands. Not too eventful, but we got a lot done.

Now that I think about it, it may not be such a great thing that Matt and I run errands together. Because when we go to the grocery store together this happens…

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7243

♥ ♥ ♥

We buy cookies the size of our heads. And no. We did not share.

Sunday morning was our routine coffee and biscuits and gravy.

♥ ♥ ♥

7

♥ ♥ ♥

The gravy was extra thick and I was totally OK with that. I really think biscuits and gravy are becoming my favorite breakfast food. It has however been awhile since I have had a good Belgian waffle…I may have to change that soon.

Soon it was time to go watch the Colts. And goodness, those boys are killing me. These games are just too close.

Again, back to work. I know it doesn’t sound like much fun, but I am loving that I am actually being really productive. I got a lot of images done for my 30 day Facebook fitness challenge.

♥ ♥ ♥

ChallengeGroup

♥ ♥ ♥

But Matt and I took a break to have a little fun. We originally were supposed to have a date night Saturday night, but he met up with a friend for some drinks (I was totally ok with this because his friend is moving to Texas soon – #bestwifeever) So we planned for a day date and went to Dave and Busters to play some games.

Master of the crane. 2:2

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7297

♥ ♥ ♥

So now it’s just chill time on the couch watching more football. Over all a great weekend if you ask me. Oh and I also have this little cutie by my side.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7299

♥ ♥ ♥

We are puppy sitting one of my co-workers dogs… well OK. So the real story is I want this dog. Legit want her. And the girl is willing to give her to me because she was breeding her, but now she is done. But Matt refuses to let us get another dog. I get the argument of we have enough pets as is blah blah blah. But seriously. I want this dog. Until I convince him, I’ll have to settle for puppy sitting her over the weekend.

Well loves, I hope you all have a wonderful week.

♥ ♥ ♥

What did you do this weekend?

Do you think Matt should let me have this adorable little white dog??

catching up: challenges, puppies and date night

Hey friends!

I am so sorry it has been so long since I have checked in. I  have been so insanely busy, but in the best way possible. Sometimes I think I have everything covered, then realize there were so many things I had intentions to do, but forgot. I really need to get better organized.
Do you all have any recommendations on ways to stay organized with tasks? I try to put things in my phone, but my alerts only go off at one time and then I still forgot about them. My computer doesn’t seem to have a good task/calendar program, so honestly I am thinking of getting a dry erase board so it’s just flat out in my face.

Any recommendations would have HIGHLY appreciated.

♥ ♥ ♥

Anywho. What’s been going on with me?

A lot.

The most important and most time consuming.

My decision to becoming a Beachbody Coach and getting my business started.

I LOVE IT.

I am about to start my first 30 day Facebook challenge group and couldn’t be more excited.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7080

♥ ♥ ♥

I recently ran a free 7 day clean eating challenge and absolutely loved it, so I am so excited to be running my first solo group. So of course let me know if you are interested and I would love to get you more information.

Other happenings?

Lot’s of cuteness and lot’s of deliciousness.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_7055

♥ ♥ ♥

Ugh guys. I love my job. Seriously. I work long hours, and it’s crazy and stressful, but I kid you not as soon as a puppy comes in all is well.

Speaking of work, my schedule recently changed with a co-worker going on maternity leave, so I now have the weekends off! And ironically Matt’s mom had gotten us tickets to see Wicked for the first weekend I had off so Matt and I were able to have a date night! We even got kinda fancy!

♥ ♥ ♥

1

♥ ♥ ♥

I think we clean up nice!

Dinner was of course sushi. Big surprise I know. But it seriously is what always sounds good.

♥ ♥ ♥

6

♥ ♥ ♥

Wicked was amazing! Our cast was just perfect and it was just overall an amazing performance.
Just really made me realize I would like to go to the theater more often and see more shows.

♥ ♥ ♥

2

♥ ♥ ♥

The rest of the weekend has been kind of chill. Matt and I are both really busy doing side projects, so we typically spend most of our free time working. It’s still kind of together time though and we are both really enjoying what we’re doing. Sunday we did take a break to go watch the Colts game (we finally won!) but we also took our work with us!

♥ ♥ ♥

3

♥ ♥ ♥

Yup, we were those people. But hey when you only have so much time to get things done you have to take advantage of it. And needless to say, after my beers, I was pretty worthless, so I’m glad I got some work done.

So now we are full from dinner and watching the last game. Overall, I think I like having weekends off.

♥ ♥ ♥

What did you do this weekend? Big plans? Or relaxing days?

my last single valentine’s day

Hello my loves!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day regardless of if you are in a relationship or single. I kind of have the outlook that it is just a Hallmark holiday, but I am not going to lie, I am a girl and what girl doesn’t like a holiday about love?

This Valentine’s Day was an extra special one for me. It was the last Valentine’s Day before Matt and I will be married!

Ahh! Seriously guys, my wedding is in a little over a month away. I really hope I have everything together.

But on to my Valentine’s Day recap.

I had to work that morning, but Matt and I had made dinner plans for the evening. We really don’t go all out and just always look forward to a nice evening out together.

My day did start with flowers.

♥ ♥ ♥

1

♥ ♥ ♥

Ok confession. These were not my Valentine’s Day flowers. Matt and I kind of bickered the day before and these were according to Matt “Sorry I was a butthead flowers”. I did get Valentine’s Day flowers (which I had to sit at work an extra hour to wait for because they were delivered late) but those have yet to bloom and these were just as pretty.

And I got Matt in my opinion the best card ever.

♥ ♥ ♥

2

♥ ♥ ♥

Yes,  I got him a giant Valentine’s Day card. I mean. As soon as I saw them, I couldn’t not get it for him.

Before I had to go to work, we decided to go get coffee together.  We stopped at the Starbucks that is next to my work and not only did my barista put a cute foam heart in my Flat White, but they also had cute little photo-booth cut outs laying on the table. Matt and I of course had some fun with them.

♥ ♥ ♥

3

♥ ♥ ♥

Then to make my morning even better, one of my co-workers brought in Einstein Bagels and some of them were shaped like hearts! Super cute. And super yummy.

For our Valentine’s Day dinner we decided to dress up a little bit, and of course had to take some bathroom selfies before we left.

♥ ♥ ♥

4

♥ ♥ ♥

For dinner we chose to go to True Food Kitchen, which is a place we both love, but haven’t been too for awhile.  We knew they would be busy and made reservations for 7:00pm. Before dinner we decided to go grab a drink and of course went to our favorite Whole Foods which was right down the street.

Oh and more selfies happened.

♥ ♥ ♥

5

♥ ♥ ♥

When it was time for our reservation we headed down to the restaurant.

I was pretty hungry so we decided to get an appetizer of their herb hummus and pita.

♥ ♥ ♥

8

♥ ♥ ♥

Oh my goodness. This hummus is amazing. I love the addition of the feta cheese. I really think feta is one of my all time favorite cheeses!

I tried not to lick the whole plate as I was very excited for my entree.

I actually decided to try something new, which for me is rare, once I find a dish I like I usually stay with it, but I was really in the mood for salmon, so I ordered their Thai Green Papaya Salad and added salmon to it.

♥ ♥ ♥

9

♥ ♥ ♥

1. Seriously look at how huge that piece of salmon is. And yes. I ate every last bite.

2. I love how much avocado they give you.

This salad was very fresh, and being a huge lover of kelp noodles, I was excited to see so many of them in the salad.

I definitely would order this again.

Matt ordered the Panang Curry and he added tofu.

♥ ♥ ♥

10

♥ ♥ ♥

I of course stole a few bites and it was delicious as well.

And what would Valentine’s Day be without dessert?

I absolutely love their flour less chocolate cake and was looking forward to it during the whole meal.

♥ ♥ ♥

11

♥ ♥ ♥

Matt ordered the Coconut Banana Chia Seed Pudding. It was very very good. I think we both made good choices!

So overall, a very good night out and we had such a great time together.

I am very excited for our next Valentine’s Day which will be our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple!!

♥ ♥ ♥

Did you do anything special for Valentine’s Day?
Do you prefer to go out or stay in?

a wedding update and labor day celebrations

Hello my loves!

I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day weekend and I hope you were lucky like me and actually had the day off!

I felt like even though I barely left the house, I did however get a lot accomplished. And a lot of the wedding front.

I haven’t updated much on the wedding basically because it has been stressing me out to no ends.

Not only do I feel like there is so much to do, but I am basically doing this all on my own, so it’s very stressful.  I feel like all Matt and I do is argue, whether it be about the wedding, the budget, and the lack of time we are spending together. He is working very hard on his freelance and I know he is doing it make money so we can afford this wedding, and I do not hold that against him in the slightest, however sometimes I feel he doesn’t understand why I am frustrated. I know most men are not involved in the wedding planning, which is fine, but with all my family and bridesmaids being thousands of miles away, I am basically on my own. Which can be a bit overwhelming at times. Slowly but surely though I am getting things accomplished and the wedding will be what it is.

(I have my location and dress so really what else matters, let’s be real)

♥ ♥ ♥

MjAxMi1jYWQ1YjFkMGY0YmVmZDll

♥ ♥ ♥

But I digress.

One thing planning a wedding is showing me though are the effects of stress and our health.

Before I started planning the wedding I was actually noticing great improvements with my health, mood and energy levels.

I briefly mentioned I was trying to cut some gluten and dairy out of my diet to see if I was having any food sensitivities.  I have not gone completely gluten or dairy free, but I have cut back on certain food items that I do believe I was reacting to. I can not even begin to describe the difference I felt!

But let me tell you, with the whole wedding planning process, I have really started to notice the effects that stress is putting on my body.

I feel like I am always tired regardless of how much I sleep, I am moody, irritable and just honestly emotionally worn out.

This really doesn’t come as a surprise to me though. I have been listening to a lot of health and nutrition podcasts and almost all of them will tell you that in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle that the most important things sometimes are not diet and exercise, but sleep and stress. You can eat the cleanest diet, exercise daily, but if you are not getting enough sleep and are always stressed out, it will counteract all of that.

So I am working on de-stressing, taking everything day by day, and trusting the process. Everything will get done and the day will be the best day of my life, not because of the wedding location, decorations, or party favors, but the fact that I will be married to the love of my life and best friend.

♥ ♥ ♥

love

♥ ♥ ♥

So with that being said let’s move on to more good things!

I know the traditional Labor Day celebration are BBQs, cookouts and parades, but not in our household.

We actually spent more the day inside, Matt working on freelance work and me on wedding stuff.  I actually feel like I got a lot accomplished and didn’t stress out. Woo-Hoo!

We started our day off by going to one our favorite coffee spots Buzz Berry, but instead of getting our typical Americano’s we decided to get a little crazy.

I still ordered an iced Americano, but spiked with in house made Kahlua. Matt ordered a bloody mary.

♥ ♥ ♥

1

♥ ♥ ♥

They were both delish and a great start to the day.

However, drinking on an empty stomach.

Well you end up with pictures like this.

♥ ♥ ♥

2

♥ ♥ ♥

I was very entertained with myself.

As mentioned we spent the majority of the day both working on our own projects.  We had made plans for dinner as Fox Restaurant Concepts always sends out coupons for these small holidays.  Matt and I have kind of made it a little tradition to go when we get them since we love basically all of their restaurants. Last year we went to Blanco’s Tacos and Tequilla so we decided to keep with it and go again this year! Because really, on Labor Day, you get Mexican food.

We of course started with margarita’s.

♥ ♥ ♥

4

♥ ♥ ♥

And guacamole is always mandatory.

♥ ♥ ♥

3

♥ ♥ ♥

Their guacamole is so delicious, there are seriously like whole chunks of avocado in there. I could seriously eat this whole bowl with a spoon no problem. But I restrained. Had to save room for my meal.

♥ ♥ ♥

5

♥ ♥ ♥

I debated in between the salmon salad, chicken fajitas, or chicken burrito. I knew all three wouldn’t disappoint, but the salmon was so good the last time I got it, I just had to get it again. Good salmon I feel is hard to find sometimes.

Matt went with grilled fish tacos. Always a good choice.

♥ ♥ ♥

6

♥ ♥ ♥

We actually went to a different location as we had initial plans to stop by Baskin Robbins on the way home because I had gotten an e-mail alert that they released a new Pumpkin Cheesecake flavor, but while walking to the restaurant we walked past a new to us gelato spot called Frost Gelato that looked pretty tempting.  There ended up being a little bit of a wait to get a table, so while we waited we walked over and sampled a few flavors. They were all amazing, so our dessert plans quickly changed and we decided we would just come back after dinner.

♥ ♥ ♥

7

♥ ♥ ♥

So glad we did.

After trying almost every single flavor I decided to go with the Strawberry Yogurt.

Which even though it may be a bit confusing, is was still gelato, just a strawberry “yogurt” flavor. Regardless, it was delicious with big chunks of strawberries in it.

Overall even though it wasn’t too eventful of a day in terms of activities, it was a very productive day that ended with a lovely meal with my love. And for once we had a wedding conversation without a fight.

So loves, I hope you all had a relaxing stress free weekend. And if things do get stressful, just remember to breath, take one day at a time, and all with work out.

Now if I could only take my own advice.

♥ ♥ ♥

How do you reduce stress in your life?

What were your Labor Day activities? Traditional? Non Traditional?

sometimes i complain

Hello luvs.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I hope you all got the extra day off.

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to sleep in (and by sleep in I mean an extra hour if that, the kitties don’t allow sleeping in, in this house) and enjoy an extra day to clean the house lay on the couch. I’m usually so worn out from my week that I take Sunday’s to relax and really not do much. I of course have some errands to run, but for the most part, I don’t get much accomplished. And I’m totally ok with that.

♥ ♥ ♥

Sunday however since I knew I had Monday off Matt and I decided to venture out a bit into the world.

There was a new brewery that he has really been wanting to go to, so after lunch we decided to head up there for a beer.

The brewery was called Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. and they basically had a state park theme to it.

Hence the flight in a log.

♥ ♥ ♥

 IMG_9426

♥ ♥ ♥

We intentionally went after lunch to avoid the temptations of getting food.

Well. That didn’t really work.

♥ ♥ ♥

4

♥ ♥ ♥

I guess it was just a side of fries. And it was totally worth it, because not only were they fresh cut fries, but they also had a sriracha ketchup and habanero honey mustard. Ah-mazing.

We ended up getting a growler of the IPA, because I just love IPA’s.

♥ ♥ ♥

2

♥ ♥ ♥

On Monday I again just wanted to be lazy. But alas, I ran a few errands, cleaned a bit, and tried to be a little bit productive.  Matt and I have a tradition for Memorial day. Fox Restaurant Concepts always sends out coupons for smaller holidays like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day and Matt and I always make point to go. He wanted to branch out and try a new to us restaurant that we haven’t been to yet, Culinary Dropout.

Things started out seemingly good. They had Rogue beer, pretzel and cheese fondue…and even though our waitress was a little spacey, things seemed fine.

♥ ♥ ♥

3

♥ ♥ ♥

But the waitress got even more spacey, not taking our order, forgetting our beers, and then our entrees came out literally five minutes after our appetizer. I don’t like to complain, but I asked for the manager.

And I will say the manager saved the day. She not only comped our appetizer and a round of drinks, but also gave us a free dessert.

And then right when we were leaving she also gave us a coupon for a free appetizer for our next visit. We actually ended up not using the coupon we had initially brought since so much had been comped off our bill, we just didn’t feel right about it.

So even though not the best first experience, it wasn’t completely horrible. The food was great (I got the Seared Tuna Salad, Matt got the Rainbow Trout) and the dessert we took to-go… Bourbon Black Bottom Pie (oh my)  was a chocolate ganache made with bourbon, graham crackers, and whipped cream was pretty much the best thing ever. So I suppose things could have been worse right?

So now it’s back to the grind, I know getting up tomorrow morning will be rough, but such is life right?

Have a great week loves.

 ♥ ♥ ♥

What’s your breaking point in bad service before you complain?

treating ourselves

Hey loves!

This post is coming to you much later than anticipated.

1. I am working on getting more sleep after discussing and realizing how important it is, so I not only went to bed earlier than normal, but since today is my day off, I also took advantage of sleeping in! However sleeping in to me is 7:30am, but compared to 5:00am that’s wonderful for me!

I had all the intentions of writing my What I Ate Wednesday post last night, but before passing out early, I was too busy shoving my face with this wonderfulness.

♥ ♥ ♥

6

♥ ♥ ♥

I briefly touch on my recovery here and there and let’s just assume I am always in the need to gain.  Matt has been super supportive and really helping me push lately that he demanded we go to Dairy Queen last night since he knows I have been having stressful days at work. It seems to correlate when I am stressed at work, I am stressed with my eating and health goals, so I really appreciated him stepping up and making me keep pushing. And really. Who can say no to Dairy Queen? Not this girl.

♥ ♥ ♥

On top of that Matt also treated me to a fancy date night out.

Yes I eat a lot of sushi. That’s a fact.

♥ ♥ ♥

1

♥ ♥ ♥

But to stay in our budget we usually go to a smaller sushi joint that is less expensive. The best sushi out there? No. Good for the money? Absolutely.  But when we decided we wanted sushi one night, Matt suggested we actually treat ourselves to a nicer restaurant that is in our neighborhood.

Let me tell you, I forgot what high quality sushi tasted like. It was amazing.

I started with a seaweed salad, and in first bite I noticed the difference between a freshly made seaweed salad and probably packaged seaweed salad I have been eating at the other sushi spot.

♥ ♥ ♥

1

♥ ♥ ♥

We also got yellow tail sashimi to share and again, the difference in the quality of fish was instantly noticed. It tasted amazing. I love good fresh high quality sashimi.

We ordered four rolls to share for our main meal.

♥ ♥ ♥

2

♥ ♥ ♥

Salmon wrapped in cucumber, fire dragon roll, special spicy roll and spicy tuna roll.

Yes. We like it spicy. And like the rest of our meal, all was fresh and delicious.

Now, our bill was probably 3x as much as what we spend at the other place, but totally worth it.

It was also great to have a nice date night out with Matt. Much needed.

♥ ♥ ♥

Home meals however have not been as fancy.  I have been having really long days at work and have been getting out late that by time I get home Matt has already eaten and I have no desire to cook anything fancy in my own kitchen.

Some of my quick meals.

♥ ♥ ♥

5

♥ ♥ ♥

Avocado mash on toast. It has become a life savor for me. I am obsessed with it right now.

EPIC 100% grass fed animal based protein bars.

♥ ♥ ♥

IMG_8395

♥ ♥ ♥

It’s a quick way for me to get high quality protein in and I actually broke one up and added it on top of my avocado toast.

#strangebutgood?

Oh and since Monday was National Beer Day. I did that too.

♥ ♥ ♥

4

♥ ♥ ♥

Beer and beards. All I need.

Well loves I hope you are all having a great week, until next time.

♥ ♥ ♥

What are some of your favorite quick meals?

How often do you treat yourself to nice dinners out?
